Canandaigua Craft Beverage Trail: With a sizable concentration of craft beverage producers within City and Town limits, the Canandaigua LDC is supporting the development of a collaborative marketing effort to harness and showcase the full impact of the craft beverage industry in Canandaigua.

Today Governor Cuomo announced the launch of the New York Forward Loan Program, a new economic recovery loan program aimed at supporting New York’s small businesses, nonprofits and small landlords as they reopen after NYS on PAUSE.

The guidance is evolving continuously and it can be tricky to keep pace with – but here’s a bit of clarity! The Governor’s office has released guidelines and business safety templates for the select industries allowed to begin reopening in phase one.

At yesterday’s press conference in Monroe County, Governor Cuomo outlined additional guidelines for when regions will be able to re-open. While New York State remains on PAUSE through May 15, re-openings will be permitted on a phased, regional basis as each region meets the criteria necessary to protect public health as businesses re-open.

With the additional funding provided by the new COVID-19 interim relief package, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced that it will: Resume accepting Paycheck Protection Program applications from participating lenders on Monday, April 27, 2020 at 10:30am EDT.

Tomorrow, April 23 at 12pm, representatives from AARP, the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the Yang-Tan Institute on Employment and Disability at Cornell University will convene a virtual panel highlighting workplace considerations for vulnerable populations.

On Friday, the U.S. Small Business Administration released guidance for several small business support programs, designed to quickly get much-needed funding to businesses challenged by the COVID-19 pandemic.
