NY Releases Additional Guidance for Outdoor Dining and Phase 3 Reopenings

The Phase 2 reopening is well underway in the Finger Lakes! Summary and detailed guidelines, and the corresponding affirmation forms and business safety templates can all be found here.

On June 3, Governor Cuomo announced that outdoor dining at restaurants would also be permitted in the Phase 2 reopening and released additional guidance for Outdoor and Take-Out/Delivery Food Services. A number of Canandaigua-area restaurants and food service establishments are actively opening outdoor seating in accordance with this guidance; Finger Lakes Visitors Connection and the Canandaigua Business Improvement District are both maintaining evolving lists of openings for us to enjoy – check them out!

While Phase 3 industries – Food Service and Personal Care – have yet to get the green light to reopen beyond what Phase 1 and 2 permit, the Governor’s Office just released reopening guidance, affirmation forms and business safety templates so that businesses can start preparing now in anticipation of Phase 3.
